Summary
Responsible and accountable for driving store business results by creating a positive store experience, having the best employees in place, ensuring marketing execution, and managing expenses.
Job Duties
1. Model, manage and reinforce service expectations of both internal and external customers to maximize a positive experience. Reinforce an environment that allows employees to do what is necessary to resolve customer issues quickly and correctly.
2. Overall responsibility for achieving sales goals, creating a business plan and setting store goals that are aligned with the strategic sales plan.
3. Analyze store's financial data and take action to grow revenues, control costs, and ensure appropriate inventory management (maintain rental product and sell-through merchandise inventories) to achieve sales and profit goals.
4. Recruit, hire, develop, evaluate and counsel store employees. Schedule, organize and direct assignments.
5. Overall accountability to ensure that proper cash controls and loss prevention procedures are in place and followed per company standards.
6. Ensure the overall execution of merchandising standards and marketing programs while maintaining a clean store environment.
7. Ensure all daily store required activities are performed per company standards.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 3 to 5 years retail sales/customer service experience
* Minimum 18 months prior supervisory experience
* Advanced customer service and sales skills
* Availability to work all shifts
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* General knowledge of movies
* General knowledge of Microsoft Office products
* Ability to perform all job duties and to lift up to 35 pounds from floor to waist
Preferred
* Some college or Bachelor's degree
